We are recruiting for a part-time Clinical Research Nurse/AHP, who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards great people, great place.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Core Research and Development Team.
If you would like to join a supportive team in a dynamic and exciting setting, where you can develop your skills and work with colleagues across the Trust then this role is for you.
The post holder will work as part of a growing, enthusiastic team of administrators, research nurses, and other research staff as part of the multi-disciplinary team supporting the delivery of research projects.
We require a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in developing specific skills to be a research nurse. You will be self-motivated and driven to work alongside the clinical and administrative staff ensuring patients a service of the highest quality.

Contracted Hours: 30 hours per week

Job responsibilities
The role of the Clinical Research Nurse/AHP is to take responsibility for the identification of clinical trials appropriate for our clinical services, the facilitation of these trials and once open, their ongoing management and care of patients and participants.
The post holder will ensure that participant care, treatment, assessment, follow-up and data collection are co-ordinated according to the appropriate research protocols.
The post holder will work as part of a Research team alongside Research Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, Research & Development Management team members, study teams and other key stakeholders but also closely with clinical departments.
The role includes working autonomously, in a variety of settings.
