Rotational Occupational Therapist - Band 5

Are you an Occupational Therapist with innovative leadership skills and dedicated to nurturing your team's development and wellbeing? Are you seeking a new challenge?

We are currently hiring for a Rotational post which could cover the following areas:
  • Community Rehabilitation Service
  • Discharge to Assess
  • Acute Stroke/ Neurology
  • General Medicine (may include Gastro, Cardiology, Respiratory, Endocrine, oncology)
  • Surgery
  • Orthopaedics
  • A&E and emergency care (JETT)
  • Care of Older People

Main duties of the job

What's the role?

We are looking for dynamic and inspiring Occupational Therapists to form part of our Care of Older People and Medical Therapy Teams.

We are seeking band 5 Occupational Therapists to join our fantastic team. We are committed to achieving the highest possible patient outcomes. To achieve this we invest time and energy into training our staff. The Occupational Therapy Department at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust will offer individualised programmes of teaching and training as well as core skills training. The core skills training includes; leadership training, coaching skills, people management training, resilience training, quality improvement and much more.

  • Are you a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with an active HCPC registration?
  • Do you have a desire to enhance your post-graduate training and experience?
  • Do you want to get involved in a pioneering service that welcomes development initiatives and integration projects?
  • Keen to take an active role in developing and nurturing others, both personally and professionally?
  • Hoping to support the leadership of an engaged, friendly and supportive team?
