Due to the expansion of Endoscopy services in the Oldham area and the opening of a brand new Endoscopy Unit at the Community Diagnostic Centre, the Northern Care Alliance has some exciting opportunities in all areas of Endoscopy. Applicants are invited to apply for a Band 5 Staff Nurse position which will work at one of the endoscopy units of the Royal Oldham Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary and the Oldham Community Diagnostic Centre.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our specialized team. Our endoscopy units are dynamic undertaking a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures for both inpatients and outpatients. You need to be flexible, hardworking and appreciate the need for professional development within your clinical practice to ensure we establish a responsive and effective team.
Main duties of the job
We provide a seven day service and participation in an out of hours on call gastrointestinal bleed rota is essential to meet the needs of the local community.
Informal visits to the units are welcomed, to enable applicants to familiarise themselves with the facilities.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receivea full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
