We are currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Workers/ Recovery Nurses . There will be regular evening and weekend working involved. The suitable candidates will have previous experience of working in substance misuse service and a good understanding of caseload management and support needs of clients accessing a community service.
The job mainly includes caseload management, active recovery planning and risk management, conducting initial needs assessments, supporting clients through partnership working, safeguarding adults and children, liaison with key professionals, onward referrals to partnership agencies, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role also requires a good understanding of the effects of substances and harm minimisation. Caseloads vary but would include a mixture of clients with varying presenting needs, some on substitute prescriptions. The preferred candidate will also be confident in delivering workshops. As this job is advertised as Bank, hours and location will vary depending on service need. There are options to work from home occasionally too.
