An exciting Band 5 to 6 development post opportunity has arisen for a Registered Dietitian who would like to specialise in Young People's mental health in particular eating disorders.

The post will predominantly be based within our Inspire CAMHS Inpatient Unit that supports young people aged 13 - 18 years with a wide range of mental health issues that include eating disorders and disordered eating. It will also require some community working to support our alternatives to admission and reduction in length of admission agenda.

Inspire consists of 9 bedded General Adolescent Unit (GAU, including a High Dependency Area) that provides Inpatient, Day care and Intensive Home Treatment.

The Intensive Home Treatment team works alongside a Community Eating Disorder Team supported by a Band 7 Advanced Dietitian, a CAMHS Paediatric In-reach service to Hull Royal Infirmary our local acute hospital partner and is supported out of hours by our CAMHS Crisis team.

On commencement of the post we will meet with you to develop a personal training plan sourcing both in-house and external training alongside a competency framework. On successful completion of these competencies (over a 12 month period) the post will move from a Band 5 to 6 position.

The successful applicant will also benefit from the Humber wide Dietitian service supporting both adults and paediatrics led by a Lead Dietitian.
