A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Portfolio Office Lead to join the Group Digital Services Team at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT).
We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff with a delivery focus who can align to our values and behaviours. You will be delivering exciting change initiatives, service improvements and defined projects across our portfolio of work, supporting the achievement of the MFT Digital Strategy and wider organisational strategies and digital aspirations.
You will form part of a growing, motivated, and supportive team and will be well placed to develop your skills and knowledge.
Main duties of the job
This is a busy and rewarding role in a team which supports the transformation of services through the utilisation of technology in accordance with trust-wide business requirements. Your application must be able to demonstrate that you have a sound understanding of business change, project and programme delivery, have strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills, advanced IT skills understanding and working knowledge of digital change initiatives and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.

- Education to Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent level qualification
- Evidence of continued professional qualifications relating to business administration/analysis, Prince 2, P3O Foundation, projects or programme management and planning, or financials or workforce

- In depth specialist Understanding of portfolio management discipline and the application to portfolio planning, demand management, benefits tracking and risk management.
- Experience of operating in a matrix management structure and securing commitment to completion of activities with colleagues both inside and outside formal line management.
- Experience in staff management
- Extensive involvement in the coordination and facilitation of governance meetings with senior stakeholders, including preparation of agenda and supporting papers, and accurate minute taking (actions and decisions)
