We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced individual to lead our clinical systems within Radiology at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
The role will be based at Macclesfield General Hospital, but support may be required at our Congleton and Knutsford sites occasionally.
The successful applicant will join a close working team to provide a high-quality service to system users.
NHS and Radiology IT system experience is essential.
Hours per week: 37.5
Main duties of the job
The role involves leading and managing the Trust's RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving Communications System) systems.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to service provision and development.
They will be responsible for the daily management of the computer systems and peripheral hardware in radiology, coordinating with department heads, service providers, suppliers, and the Trust's IT department to ensure the systems are used efficiently and effectively.

- Post graduate level qualification or equivalent experience in an NHS organisation

- HCPC (Health and Care Professional Council) registration
- BSc (Bachelor of Sciences) Radiography or equivalent in relevant related subject area
Knowledge & Experience

- Experience working with NHS computer systems.
- In-depth specialist knowledge of the Trusts computer systems and Radiology software systems.
- Experience in presentation to a wide range and size of audiences, and knowledge of appropriate support media
- Experience of working to agreed objectives.
