An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of two Band 8A ACP 12 month secondment/fixed term posts across the North Inpatient Sites as part of a Pilot staffing model aimed to augment and enhance the current provision within the inpatient wards.
One post holder will cover Eden Female PICU and Larimar Female Acute
One Post holder will cover George Male Acute and Eden Male Acute.
Main duties of the job
Post Holders will be an experienced Nurse /Allied Health Professional qualified to masters' level who will act as a clinical leader at the level of Middle Grade Psychiatrist or Specialist Trainee Psychiatrist. They will work collaboratively with the Consultant Psychiatrist to meet the needs of patients and will play a key role in service delivery and adherence to policy and procedures. They will also be instrumental in guiding trainee ACPs, junior medical staff and nursing staff in relation to relevant protocols and procedures.

- Registered Healthcare Practitioner (NMC or HCPC)
- Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent) in field of practice
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Post qualification experience in Mental Health.
- Extensive experience as a registered professional working with and managing people with complex problems
- Recognised education qualification
