We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clinical Coding Analyst ACC Band 6 plus 5% R& R at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. This is a remote post but we also have opportunities for hybrid working.
We offer flexible working and also have an inhouse Clinical Coding Training and Audit team to support with future career development.
Main duties of the job
The candidate should hold the National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC), who must be able to work to the highest degree of accuracy within a busy clinical coding department.
The Coding Team plays a critical role in ensuring that the clinical care received by the patients is accurately coded on the Trust PAS, working to strict deadlines to meet National Submission deadlines.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to ensuring the clinical coding teams deliver a quality coding service across the organisation by providing accurate and timely clinical coding in accordance with national standards and requirements of clinical coding.
