We are excited to offer several Assistant Psychologist posts in the Northern Care Alliance, based in the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology.
Within this, we have 2 x FTE permanent posts

Main duties of the job
You will assist with the overall running and provision of services within the team, contributing to:
Assessments, formulations and interventions for patients referred to the outpatient Clinical Neuropsychology Department with varied neuropsychological presentations. You will work closely with Clinical Neuropsychology colleagues and other members of the trans-disciplinary team.
You will have opportunities to co-facilitate group therapies, including anxiety management, lifestyle medicine, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Rehabilitation and an online Psychoeducation Course.
You will hold responsibilities for maintaining patient databases and assisting in audit and service evaluation.

- Proven experience in a relevant job role
- Professional knowledge gained through academic study
- Previous experience of working directly with people who present with cognitive, behavioural or emotional difficulties

- Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS)
