Hywel Dda University Health Board, Women and Children Directorate has exciting opportunities for motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious Nurses to join our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service, based at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth.
The clinical areas provide local services for the children, including six inpatient children's beds, one high dependency bed and a four bedded Paediatric Ambulatory care unit, as well as Oncology Care, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.The work is varied and offers opportunities to develop a broad range of specialised skills working within multi-disciplinary and multi-agency partnerships. We provide an excellent service to meet the needs of children and families incorporating Family Centred Care.
Hywel Dda University Health Board has a relocation policy for successful applicants wishing to move to the area. Applicants must meet the criteria to be eligible which can be found in the Relocation Policy.
Main duties of the job
Applicants need to be a Registered Nurse with experience post registration and the ability to be nurse in charge. The successful candidates will be required to work day and night rotation.
A caring attitude is essential with good written and oral skills. You must be able to manage your time effectively.
Full time and part time hours will be considered.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
