Due to the ever-increasing services and exciting changes at Solihull, we are now able to recruit a Clinical Site Practitioner team. These critical roles will support the entire site which will soon include our new elective hub which once operational will see 11500 patients a year in our thirteen theatres across specialisms to include Colorectal, Urology, Orthopaedic, Upper GI and Breast.
This team will be responsible and accountable for all in hospital services which includes our new state of the art Ophthalmology hub and the Urgent Treatment centre.
These critical roles will ensure any barriers to timely patient admission or discharge are resolved or escalated appropriately to ensure smooth patient flow within the hospital, working within agreed procedures and protocols to ensure safety and integrity.

From day one this will be a busy and demanding role as we look to reduce patient waiting times, improve patient experience and support our colleagues to deliver the best care to those who rely on us. To ensure this we are looking for experienced and motivated clinical practitioners with an acute / critical care background, that work well under pressure and exhibit strong leadership and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Often challenging, requiring skill, resilience, and determination to deliver the highest standards of clinical and operational management, multidisciplinary working and site management- this opportunity offers an excellent development opportunity as it combines both clinical and operational management which are key to senior nursing roles.
The Clinical Site Practitioner is key to ensuring services continue to operate in a clinically effective and safe environments. It will provide clinical oversight and assurance across Solihull Hospital and be the first point of contact for wards/departments requiring support/guidance. You will do this by providing clear and visible leadership, where our values of Kind, Connected and Bold are at the forefront.
As a key member of this critical team, you will be instrumental in maintaining and delivering high standards of quality care and patient safety.
