We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled colleagues to join us in leading clinical services as we build on existing models of care and introduce new ways of working. Our transformation plans over the next 12 months and beyond will include further integration within borough/place- based partnerships, working collaboratively with system partners, including but not limited to in the acutes, Local Authorities, Primary Care, Mental Health, and the Voluntary Sector. The Clinical Services Manager role is responsible for the delivery of a defined portfolio of medical, nursing and therapy services, supporting the Head of Clinical Services to ensure high quality care is in place and providing a visible and accessible presence for their teams.

Main duties of the job

You will need to demonstrate sound leadership and management skills, substantial experience of community services delivery and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

  • Significant NHS operational management experience
  • Evidence of continuing personal andprofessional development
  • Management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Professional clinical qualification or significant NHS experience

  • Experience of managing patient care services

  • Significant recent experience of working at a senior level
  • Substantial experience of working in community healthcare services delivering patient care
  • Change management and service transformation experience related to the planning and delivery of work in a clinical setting
  • Experience of staff management
  • Experience of budget management


Desirable

  • Proven ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Substantial experience of coordinating and leading projects
