An exciting opportunity has been created through new investment to develop the service and the offer within Solihull Early Intervention.
Solihull Early Intervention provides a 7 days per week service for those who are experiencing a first episode of Psychosis and also those young people who are at risk of developing psychosis (ARMS).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated care co-ordinator to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence based interventions across the full age range.
Applications are invited from a variety of professional backgrounds to contribute to the expert knowledge and experience that already exists within the team.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible in the role of a care co-ordinator for the assessment and coordination of care needs.
To plan and implement evidence based care and interventions for service users who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis, or are at risk of experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team providing professional advice and support to colleagues both within and outside of the service.
To work as part of a team and support colleagues when required with day to day tasks.
To act up in the role of team manager in their absence (as appropriate).
To act as a role model and resource for junior staff, students and less experienced staff.
To advocate for the service users who are under the care of Solihull Early Intervention.
To work closely with the client group and their families to resolve any issues that may be detrimental to them.
To promote recovery and hope within the client group that we work with.
