This is an exciting opportunity for a new role to providehigh quality DIALOG+ training and support continuous practice for teams within Community Transformation. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, and the skills and competency to navigate services, establish relationships with clinicalstaff and work with clinicians to understand their baseline DIALOG+ knowledge and identify any skills gaps they may have.This role will work with the DIALOG+ project team to plan, implement and evaluate training plans to provide the local areas with the skills they need to effectively co-produce personalised DIALOG+ care plans.This role requires good audit and evaluation skills to provide support to local teams with areas of improvement and provide assurance to the Community Transformation DIALOG+ Implementation Group.This role requires excellent people management skills to support the implementation and use of DIALOG+.We're looking for someone with a good understanding of local and national DIALOG+ recommendations and policies related to care planning within mental health teams to ensure the service remains relevant and up to date.

Main duties of the job

Establish and maintain an effective clinical educational approach that supports staff in the use of therapeutic, high quality, evidence based care planning in a mental health setting.Develop and deliver a high quality, DIALOG+ training and continuousimprovement plan.Support to facilitate the ongoing professional development, skills, andcompetencies for all levels of multi-disciplinary clinical workforce.Act as a role model in demonstrating high standards of clinical expertise in the delivery and benefits of DIALOG+ within clinical teams.To maintain a high standards working with clinical leadership roles toenhance the knowledge and skills of clinical staff.Have flexibility to support new initiatives, changes to practice and embed best practice DIALOG+ principles across the diverse range of mental health teams.Provide leadership to local DIALOG+ trainers ensuring appropriate clinicaland operational care planning standards are maintained

Person Specification

Essential & Desirable

Essential

  • Registered Nurse, AHP or Psychological professional (and have up to date registration with the appropriate body)
  • Recognised Teaching and assessing/mentoring qualification
  • Experience of working in a leadership clinical role
  • Evidence of clinical leadership skills in health care settings
  • Extensive knowledge of the inequalities faced by people with a mental health diagnosis and receiving mental health care
  • Ability to act as an educational lead


Desirable

  • Post Graduate Certificate in a health related subject
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting
