We are looking for an organised, experienced and enthusiastic leader to play a key role in the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Applied Research Collaboration (https://www.arc-yh.nihr.ac.uk/), hosted by Bradford Institute for Health Research.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading centres for applied health research in the country. The postholder will work closely with the YHARC leadership team to engage health and care partners, academics, policy partners, and other key stakeholders across the region in the design, development and delivery of the YHARC Knowledge Mobilisation strategy and operational plans. The post holder will manage their own workload and duties across projects which will include stakeholder engagement, developing engaging and effective knowledge mobilisation events and resources, project management and line management of the YH ARC knowledge mobilisation and communications and engagement teams.

  • Significant experience working in applied health research or research knowledge mobilisation roles
  • Experience of working in the NHS or social care in a role relevant to the YHARC priority areas
  • Experience of working on multidisciplinary and multi-organisational projects or research studies
  • Experience of working with senior academics and clinicians
  • Track record of delivering results
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Experience of organising and running events and meetings
  • Experience of active involvement in knowledge mobilisation or communication networks across organisations or systems

  • Experience of leading and working with patient and public groups to co-design pieces of work
