We are looking for a Paediatric Nurse to join our team across our Paediatric Outpatients Departments.
Our work is extremely diverse and wide ranging and is spread across several areas.
We look after children from 0-15 years old, under a number of specialities including general paediatrics, cardiac, respiratory, spinal surgery, endocrinology and gastroenterology.
Addenbrookes is well respected both locally and as a regional specialist treatment centre.
We provide excellent care across medical and surgical specialities and sub specialities.
Our ethos of child centred care and multi-professional collaboration drives our service, alongside a commitment to family focused teamwork.
We believe in supporting patients, their families and our staff and we offer a diverse range of dedicated paediatric psychosocial and clinical support services
Main duties of the job
To communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure an optimum level of safe and effective patient care in all Paediatric Outpatient areas.
To assess care needs leading to the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
To participate in a full range of shifts.
To be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance and risk management with outpatient clinics.
To work with the senior nursing team on the agenda for children and young people seen outside of designated paediatric areas.
