In conjunction with key stakeholders the post holder will work across organisational boundaries to lead and develop the Virtual Hospital CSU. The post holder will provide an interface between the clinical teams based within the Acute Trust and teams in the integrated care services.The Matron together with the Clinical Lead and Deputy Operational Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the service, delivery key quality, performance, and financial plans, achieving key service improvements within the CSU and line managing designated staff.The post holder will provide professional and management leadership to all nursing and appropriate support staff in the team in order to achieve the Trust's corporate objectives and will be expected to make a positive contribution to the delivery of health care across the local health community.The post holder will be the primary contact for patients and their families within the service.
