The Clinical Site Manager role is a proactive role which manages the patient's journey through the hospital. The successful post holder will be required to liaise across all departments and have the clinical expertise to place patients in the right place at the right time. The candidate will require the ability to support other clinical teams within the hospital, on a 24 hr basis.
The successful candidate will need a clear understanding of risk assessments and be able to problem solve.
To provide accurate concise data in a prompt time frame for senior decision makers within the Trust.
The CSM role requires individuals with the ability to remain calm and show leadership skills in stressful situations.
The postholder will be required to work shifts including long days, nights and weekends on a rotational roster. The shifts are 12.5 hours.
This role involves cross site working between Weston General Hospital and the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

Main duties of the job
To manage the overall daily and out of hours co-ordination of bed management across the adult sites at UHBW
- Comply with the current SOP's and divisional pathway
- Support and facilitate compliance with the single sex standar
- Liaise with the Emergency Department (ED) Co-ordinator to maximise bed use and the admission of emergencies within current targets
- Collaborative working with specialist teams to ensure all their pathways are maintained
- To achieve corporate priorities and key performance targets in Emergency and Elective care.
- Understand and implement the escalation plans for the CSM team and key partners
