We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Registered Nurse to join our welcoming and dynamic team within our busy fracture clinic at Wythenshawe hospital.
To be successful you will need to communicate effectively with other departments and disciplines across the MDT. As a team, we are focused on continuous quality improvements and professional excellence and we are looking for someone who shares our visions and values to provide exceptional patient care.
What we need from you:
Nursing Registration with the UK NMC (please do not apply if you have not yet obtained this and are still awaiting osces or the right to work to work in the UK) Please do not apply if you have applied before and were unsuccessful
Willingness to undertake the accredited British Orthopaedic Casting Certificate (BCC) qualification
Proficient in managing Orthopaedic wounds
Excellent clinical skills
Commitment to providing excellent standards of care as well as promoting positive patient experiences
Flexibility to meet the needs of the service which may entail staying late where clinics overrun
Main duties of the job
What the role entails:
Support fracture clinic, elective clinics and the plaster room
Cast Removal and application of basic casts
Wound care- including Application of pico's and Vac therapy
Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8am-5.30pm with the possibility of weekend and evening working in the future.

- Knowledge of UK NHS current nursing issues
