We are excited to announce that we have a new opportunity for a Breast Oncology CNS Band 6 Full time post to join the existing CNS team.
Breast Oncology CNS supports patients diagnosed with secondary breast cancer by providing expert advice, psycho-social support and information on their disease, investigations, treatment and follow-up care.
The Breast Oncology CNS team work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help deliver an expert specialist service
The Breast Oncology CNS team help to care for patients during their Oncological treatment pathway in a kind, compassionate manner. The team are committed to the development and delivery of high quality holistic patient care. They play an active part in clinical practice, management of patient caseload, education, research, audit and professional activities relating to breast cancer care.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist the Band 7 to influence patient care through clinical practice, management, leadership, education, research, audit and professional activities taking into account corporate and directorate objectives and the clinical governance framework.
