A rare opportunity is now available for a dynamic and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our team on Odstock Ward for Maternity leave cover. We are a regional burns and plastic department operating as part of a national network to provide specialist nursing care.
We are a small 17 bedded in-patient ward, working alongside an extremely talented and motivated MDT including therapists, surgeons, dietitians, psychologists and safeguarding team to rehabilitate, reconstruct and support patients through their journey with us.
The ideal candidate after additional training will be able to support the ward with referrals, working alongside the trauma coordinating team to triage, signpost and possible admit patients directly to the inpatient area.
There is also the opportunity to work alongside the outpatient team to support those requiring specialist knowledge and intervention without the requirement for an in-patient admission.
Personal development is highly encouraged with additional in-house training, apprenticeships and university courses offered.
No previous experience is necessary
Main duties of the job
Please see attached Job description and person specification for full details of roles and responsibilities.
