The Manchester Birth Centre are looking for band 6 midwives to join our enthusiastic and established team!

We are passionate about providing excellent midwife-led care, supporting each other to learn, and developing our service to meet the needs of our women and their families in our busy, alongside Birth Centre. Our team are proud to have supported at 530 births last year.

We can offer flexible working including permanent nights and/or part time hours.

Main duties of the job

You will join a well established team of supportive Midwives and Maternity Support Workers, providing midwife-led care in a busy, alongside Birth Centre.

You will provide high quality antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. You will participate in the triaging of low-risk women in labour, empowering women in their birth choices, supporting physiological birth, undertaking NIPE examinations, supporting student and preceptorship midwives, and become a valuable member of our team.
