This is a role for a dynamic Physiotherapist with a passion for working with patients with chronic pain conditions. Treatments are provided in both a 1:1 and group setting. The role involves working closely with Occupational Therapists, Consultants and Psychologists.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as part of our outpatient rehabilitation service working on the Royal Devon & Exeter, Heavitree Hospital site.
The Royal Devon is a welcoming Trust, focused on valuing a persons differences and encouraging them to grow and flourish in their role in Healthcare. It is set in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK with easy access to the coast and the Dartmoor national park.
This 30 hours/week substantive position is within the Pain Management Rehabilitation team and the post-holder will be responsible for the rehabilitation of patients with chronic pain conditions referred by the Pain Management team and GPs.
The caseload will be variable and patients are treated in both 1:1 and group settings. The role will involve providing comprehensive assessment and appropriate interventions to aid the management of chronic pain conditions. There is also a requirement for effective communication skills in the management of complex situations. Close working with members of the Pain Management MDT is pivotal to the role.
Caseloads will be flexible and at times may involve the provision of service to other areas of the Trust.
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week,8:15 to 16:30.

Pay:The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
