The Team supports young people up to 18 years of age in theWest Cheshire, Central Cheshire and East Cheshire areas.
This is an exciting opportunity as we develop our 0-18 Mental Health Access Services in the Community.
Please join the Children & Young Person's Mental Health Hub Team so you can be part of the developments.
We offer a Cheshire wide service. The post holder will be required to work a minimum of once a week in Crewe, with the option of working at satellite offices as well as remote working.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Clinical team, you will lead on/contribute to reviewing referrals to Cheshire Children and Young People's Mental Health Hub (CYPMHH) triaging referrals for children and young people, offering advice on appropriate support and signposting. You will contribute to consultations helping support professionals working with families and young people, offering advice, guidance and signposting. You will form part of the Access function with a focus on prevention and as early access to intervention as possible.
This role will entail high demand, but you will be joining a highly motivated team and supportive leadership structure. Remote work will be necessary for a portion of your scheduled hours.
You must have computer skills as all systems are electronic .
Flexible / Hybrid working encouraged (face to face work & Virtual work).

- Core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional)
- Professional Registration with recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England)
- Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional).
Desirable
- Therapeutic Training to intermediate / diploma level
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches e.g. CBT, Family Therapy
- Knowledge of Child Protection workings and Practice
