Blaenau Gwent CRT are looking for a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated individual to lead and develop services within the CRT based at the VITTC Centre.
The team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Nurses, Assistant Practitioners and a range of Support technicians.
You will lead and develop the service with support from a strong leadership team in an exciting time for the service as we shape and develop community discharge services.
You will have extensive experience in community therapy provision, demonstrate good leadership qualities and show a passion for the development of therapy pathways and provision within the community sector.
Main duties of the job
To work with a wide range of other members of the integrated service and multi agency teams to deliver the day to day line management and coordination of the CRT.
The post holder will be actively engaged with proposing service changes which can impact on other disciplines, to improve person centred care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- To work collaboratively with the professional leads across the team to ensure equity of access to relevant supervision and the achievement of competencies required for the maintenance of HCPC registration of team members.
- As an autonomous practitioner using advanced and highly specialised skills and knowledge,determine clinical diagnoses and treatment indicated for a complex caseload and maintain records.
- The Post Holder will manage and develop the Falls service within Blaenau Gwent and have operational management responsibility for all physiotherapists within the CRT.
- To be responsible for developing and monitoring the standard of service provision across the designated team through the implementation of clinical governance requirements i.e., protocols and guidelines, clinical audit and risk management policies.
- To contribute to business plans, service re-design and development across areas.
- To facilitate in-service training, research and audit activities across the wider team.
