Critical care at Wirral Hospital is seeking registered nurses who are looking for the chance to deliver a truly holistic caring experience for their patients.
This opportunity will allow you the chance to care for 18 critically ill patients , from all medical and surgical specialities . Once you have developed your skills you can have the opportunity to work with the rehabilitation, follow - up and outreach teams.
Critical Care knowledge and experience is desirable, although not required.

- Act as Critical care nurse following completion and assessment of critical care training.
- Act as preceptor and supervisor to junior colleagues and unqualified support staff.
- Carries out specialised nursing duties following completion of supplemented training
- Participates in the rotation of all areas of critical care, as service needs require.
- Acts as a specialist core team member working a high proportion of shifts out of hours.
