We are seeking neonatal nurses to join us at either Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital or St Mary's Hospital. Whether you are a QIS Neonatal Nurse or a nurses on the QIS pathway, as well as experienced Band 5's aspiring to commence the QIS course, we want to hear from you. Main duties of the job
- To deliver safe, efficient, compassionate and excellent individualised nursing care for babies and their family.
- To promote Integrated family delivered care within Neonatal services
- To reduce risk and maintain patient and staff safety take lead in investigating clinical incidents and identify ways to improve practice
- To effectively communicate with family/carers, the multidisciplinary team and agencies outside the organisation
- To supervise, support and assess learning/development of junior staff, pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, nursing associates and nursery nurses.
- To participate in research on the clinical floor

- Recent experience of caring for sick neonates in ITU/HDU/SCBU
- Leading a small team
