The Community Urgent Care Service are looking to recruit Emergency Nurse Practitioners/Emergency Practitioners across our Minor Injury Units in the beautiful county of Somerset.

You'll be a qualified ENP/EP with non-medical prescribing working with a team of ENPS who deliver high-quality care within our busy Minor Injury's Unit.

Working with us you will be part of our Dynamic team with a broad scope of advanced practice including injury and illness. We embrace the variety and challenge of this role and it means we learn something new every day. We welcome applicants with a specialist interest in Emergency Care.

Main duties of the job

The Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) or Emergency Practitioner (EP) will support the Service Manager, Nurse Consultant and Clinical and Managerial Lead, a team of both registered and unregistered staff to undertake the care and management of patients within the Minor Injury Units on a shift by shift basis.

The ENP/EP will offer support, guidance and professional support to the nursing team in the MIU.

The post holder will be involved in auditing the standards of care being provided by all clinical staff. Continuing professional development will be an integral part of the role. The post holder will act as a role model for colleagues and as an expert resource within the service.
