The Clinical Operations ManagerforOperationswillleadallservicesintheServiceLineensuring services are safe, efficient, effective, and provide value for money. You will be responsible for the operational delivery, performance, and governance of a large portfolio of clinical services across a range of sites/venues
The Clinical Services Manager will lead the services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality patient/user centered services, driving innovation, managing change, and continually improving patient/user satisfaction. The Clinical Service Manager will act as the delivery arm for Trust Strategic Priorities.
Thisisakeyleadershiprolewithcontroloffinancial,quality,performance,productivity, and workforce targets in line with business planning and Trust vision. You will be responsibleforestablishing andmaintaining internalcontrolstoensuregood financial management, and efficient uses of all resources in line with the Trust financial plan and governance arrangements.

You will act as a positive leadership role model, providing direct line management to other senior managers whilst establishing and maintaining effective structures and processes in line with the Trust's HR policies and procedures.
TheClinical Services Managerwillensurethatactivityisfullyalignedanddeliveringagainst all contracts and that services/teams are actively and robustly managing their resources effectively, that the workforce is delivering adequate levels of quality, patient facing activity, setting standards, and managing individual and team performance.
The Clinical Services Manager will ensure that delivery plans are in place that align with the objectives set in the annual businessplananddeliverwithinbudget,includingthedeliveryofcostimprovementschemes.

- Masters level (or equivalent) qualification, ideally in a management discipline or significant relevant clinical leadership / operational management experience
- Evidence of operational management/leadership training (or equivalent experience) and continuous professional development

- Demonstrable leadership experience at a senior level in the NHS or local government
- Experience of developing robust governance frameworks to assure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrable experience of building sustainable and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Significant experience of financial management tools and controls.
- Understanding and application of the people management procedures including the ability to manage complex people issues within the service.

- Demonstrable experience of applying waiting times methodology (RTT, PTL etc)
