This is currently a time of exciting changes for maternity provision within Lincolnshire as a local Maternity system (LMS) has been established by the ICB with the Lincolnshire Sustainability and Transformation Partnership.
Within the antenatal care department we have an amazing opportunity to welcome women and families into the trust. High quality antenatal care is provided using the implementation of Saving Babies Lives care bundle V2. We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as we strive to improve health and birth outcomes for women and babies.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve delivering high quality care for complex pregnancies in both the antenatal clinic and the antenatal assessment unit, working collaboratively with the sonography, obstetric and wider multidisciplinary team. The role will include working within our satellite clinics in Gainsborough and Grantham Antenatal care includes following the public health guidance around screening for both mothers and new born. Specialist clinics including fetal medicine, multiple pregnancy clinics, preterm birth prevention clinics, and combined endocrine/obstetric clinics.A vaccination service is also provided by midwives for patients and the role will involve training so that women can be offered Flu , pertussis and RSV vaccines as part of their antenatal care .
