As a staff nurse at MFT you'll be expected to work within the NMC code of Professional Conduct working throughout the department in triage, assessment, treatment room and co-ordination utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that all our patients are seen efficiently and effectively, meeting all their clinical needs within the 4 hour target.We show our commitment to our teams through excellent development and progression opportunities, starting with a comprehensive Induction Programme and the MREH led Ophthalmic learning Programme. so we're proud to nurture and support our nurses to provide the very best care. Main duties of the job
The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of care to an agreed and expected high standard. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. Participate fully in a structured competency based Programme, as required while working in all areas of the Eye Emergency Department.
