The MRI department at New Cross hospital consists of three scanners and our Cannock site is a brand-new facility with 2 further MRI units.
You will work alongside an innovative team of professionals, performing a wide range of MRI examinations including cardiac scanning. You will be actively involved in providing support, guidance and training to junior members of staff and trainees, helping develop people and services.
We are passionate about providing excellent patient care and as a senior radiographer, you will be an integral part of the patients journey through radiology.
We are equally committed to growing you as a professional and have multiple opportunities for growth and career progression including post graduate training and advanced learning/development.
You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
Hours will include weekends and bank holidays. There will be a requirement to work across both our New Cross Site in Wolverhampton, and our Cannock Chase Hospital CDC unit, in Cannock.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will offer our patients the highest standard of imaging and patient care in an MRI focused setting.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly to provide services on a rota that will include working at weekends, during evenings and on Bank Holidays.
The post holder will have sufficient technical knowledge to produce high quality diagnostic images. Full equipment training for external candidates will be provided.
