Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Nurse to join our team on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We are a regional level 3 intensive care unit with 42 cots, caring for the smallest and sickest babies across East Anglia. In this unique clinical area, we offer a full induction program. This is led by our dedicated practice development team and will incorporate least 6 weeks supernumerary time, working alongside our experienced team members. As a member of the NICU nursing team it is expected that you will undertake further training to gain the qualification of being 'Qualified in Specialty' which will be fully supported by the unit.

If you share our passion for providing the best possible care for our babies and their families when they need it the most and want to work in a team which consistently strives to provide every patient with the care we want for those we love most, we would like to hear from you.

To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to function as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture.
