Community Diagnostic Centre
MRI Radiographer - Specialist, Community Diagnosticand Mobile Service
This is a new service and we are looking for pioneering and innovative MRI Radiographers who are keen to experience a new way of delivering a varied workload.
Are you able to work with the high pressures endemic in the modern NHS?
Do you enjoy finding solutions and working in new and different ways?
Are you keen to provide a ground-breaking MRI service to patients?
If so we have an exciting opportunity for a number of Radiographers join our team - to manage and run a new state of the art Siemens Sola 1.5T MRI Scanner to support the CDC service across the Humber Coast and Vale (HCV) region.
This service will be brand new, and delivered from the new CDC Development in Hull city Centre. In conjunction with Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust delivering MRI capacity at non-acute sites.

Main duties of the job
You will be expected to work in the CDC with potential to also support the HNY Mobile MRI service. Preferably working 3 long days you will be supported with training and pastoral support from HUTH.
You will be an NHS employee, your host Trust will be HUTH however you will be employed to provide a service to the CDC.
In the future your role may include responsibilities at any sites across the region and there will be a potential for on call responsibilities.
CPD will be actively encouraged and supported within the Role. Radiographers will be encouraged to study for Post graduate qualification such as the post graduate certificate in MRI and develop your skills
A substantial relocation package will be available for any applicants outside the area. Applicants already within the region will be considered on an individual basis.
