An exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Headache Nursing Team at University Hospitals NHS Trust Sussex.
Main duties of the job
To provide high quality specialist care, management, and treatment to people suffering from a range of complex and chronic headache disorders.
This will include running independent face to face and telemed clinics, as well as providing education and support to patients.
The post-holder is responsible for supporting the Band 7 CNS to deliver the nursing care and support with clinical governance within Headache service.
A key part of the role will be to deliver injectable therapies including, botulin toxin A for chronic migraine and greater occipital nerve blocks.
The role is primarily based at Worthing and Southlands Hospitals, with some cross site work within the other hospitals in the Trust

Knowledge and expertise in headache management is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. There is also a commitment to provide education to staff and community members.

- Degree level adult nursing or equivalent
- Evidence of post-graduate development
- Previous band 6 experience
- Evidence of effective team working
- Evidence of experience in Neurosciences
