Our newly established and innovative Occupational Health Service within North London Partners Shared Service are looking for Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisors to join their multi-disciplinary team!
We are working in partnership with 10 NHS provider organisations within North Central London, with a vision to grow and engage with both NHS and Independent Health Sector organisations. It is an exciting time to join our supportive, innovative, and flexible team of highly experienced Occupational Health Nurses.
Our busy clinic provide onsite OH services at client premises across North London.
Our shared services have shared values and respect one another, with a strong ethos to continuously improve services, processes and encourage growth. Main duties of the job
What's involved?
- To provide a comprehensive Occupational Health, Safety & Wellbeing service to the Trusts and contracted organisations in line with good occupational health practice and current health and safety legislation.
- Provision of advice to management teams on current issues, acting within minimum guidelines and establishing how professional policies should be interpreted and implemented.
- Working to best practice models to ensure that the service must be equitable, confidential and easily accessed by all employees and service delivery must be compliant with national service standards.
- Some budgetary responsibilities, including to be responsible for the purchase of consumable and some physical asserts. Monitor stock and ensure suitable levels are maintained.
- Manage the Clinical Nursing Team and to participate in research and audit within the specialist area.

Qualifications and experience
Essential
- Qualification, Experience Education & Training: Diploma or higher in Nursing, OH nursing certification (e.g., Bachelor's degree or higher), relevant specialised training
- 2 years or more experience at Band 6
- Clinical competency in assessments e.g., injury assessment, health surveillance, workplace hazard evaluation
Desirable
- Previous experience in assisting ill employees with return-to-work, collaboration and teamwork, data management and reporting
