The Talent for Care team are offering two 10-month fixed term Band 5 opportunities for individuals with project management experience, who are motivated to drive forward and assist in the shaping of key Talent for Care projects.
The Talent for Care team are part of the Innovation and wider Education team. We are responsible for the coordination and implementation of a broad portfolio of pre-employment development programmes for staff and work experience opportunities which welcome school and college students as well as the general public on site. This includes assisting with the coordination of Community Outreach programmes, access to work schemes and monitoring apprenticeships. We are situated at both Ipswich & Colchester Hospital, but we rotate between on-site and home working.
You will be responsible for the coordination of work experience and work placements across the trust, as well as assisting with the organisation of outreach events. Apprenticeship monitoring and promoting will be a core part of the role as well as liaising with HEIs and training providers managing the apprenticeship enrolment process.
The positions are both full time (Monday-Friday) with flexibility to work occasional evenings & weekends for our outreach programme. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of working in the health sector & apprenticeships.

Main duties of the job
You will be prepared to travel across East Suffolk North Essex NHS Foundation Trust sites where required and also to attend local school and college events. Applicants who have a car and hold a full UK driving licence would be desirable for this role.

Main duties of the job
- You will work collaboratively with the Talent for Care Leads to ensure the service delivery standards (KPIs) are achieved.
- You will provide a professional, confidential and proactive service to managers and staff in relation to the Talent for Care Agenda.
- You will act as an ambassador for the department and for the Trust by coordinating regular meetings and events to promote Talent for Care objectives.
- Working with the Innovation and wider Education teams to ensure the Talent for Care agenda is fully embedded in the Trust.
- Act as an ambassador for the Trust, ensuring the positive development of the Trust brand and championing the Trust's value.
