Band 7 Team Leader, Paediatric Physiotherapist Service

Are you a skilled and ambitious Physiotherapist seeking an opportunity to step into a leadership role?Due to the retirement of the current post holder, and some service re-organisation, we are looking to recruit 2 Team Leaders. Both posts will be 0.8 WTE, base will be dependent on the successful applicants.
We ae looking for somebody with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with leadership ability and experience, and who has a proactive and solution focussed approach.
Paediatric physiotherapy service specific clinical experience will be required, demonstrating expert knowledge and standards of clinical practice, to support children young people and their families. You will also ensure that appropriate professional and clinical leadership is available to the team and others as needed.
As part ofthe Children's Care Group Leadership structure, you will participate in in care group team leader and other meetings, and will be expected to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues
You will need to have a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes due to the geographical spread of the teams and caseload.
Main duties of the job
You will oversee and coordinate the delivery of Paediatric Physiotherapy Services, managing both registered and non-registered clinical and administrative staff. Operationally, you will be responsible for service capacity and demand and for ensuring that gaps in quality of service, budget or performance issues are managed and escalated as required.
