Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Project Manager to welcome into our Operational Team in Radlett.
This is an exciting time to join our service as we launch our ambitious programme of projects across inpatients and community, all aimed at improving services for young people along innovative pathways.
Our team support a range of operational, service development and delivering value projects across the division that aim to improve the outcomes of Children and Young People with Mental Health condition.

Main duties of the job
- Manage or participate in major, complex projects, including multi-disciplinary projects/teams, liasing appropriately with all concerned.
- Provide relevant and timely specialist advice and guidance on own portfolio of projects/function.
- Manage tasks as per project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and contingencies.
- Ensure projects are progressed effectively and conform to relevant legislative and policy frameworks and key strategies and priorities
- Ensure deviations from project budget and timescale are identified, reported and contingencies are negotiated and agreed.
- Utilise analytical, problem management, time management and computer skills in order to effectively manage the project
- Service coordination across the pathway in line with thrive principles

- Lead and deliver a number of projects as part of the CYPMHS Transformation Programme
- Develop and maintain Project documentation throughout all stages of the the project lifecycle
- Liaise with stakeholders across the division, wider trust, external organisations and experts by experience
- Undertake data analysis and present information through informative and creative means to influence change.

- oEducated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working in project delivery.
- oProject Management Qualification or equivalent experience
- oEvidence of on-going personal and professional development

- oPRINCE2 Practitioner Qualification

- oExperience of appropriate project management methodology (e.g., Prince2)
- oExperience of analysing and presenting information to colleagues
- oExperience of completing complex project plans and supporting documentation such as risk and issue logs, lessons learnt and communication plans.
- oProven ability to negotiate and motivate teams to ensure project delivery.
- oExperience of working with multiple stakeholders
