We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a permanent Band 6. Charge nurse or clinical sister post to commence once successful with the interview. We are looking for enthusiastic and confident nurses with relevant experience and excellent knowledge and great communication skills. We will offer you sufficient support and necessary developmental packages to better help you perform your role as Band 6 in our Ward. We want YOU to be a part of our incredible Hardy Team.

Hardy Ward is a 34- bedded care of the elderly ward at Northwick Park Hospital.

The post holders must be able to demonstrate motivation and adaptability to the fast pace environment in Hardy ward.

Join us and play a pivotal role in maintaining the strong relationships among our staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Furthermore, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition for our patients from admission to discharge. Updating clinical information systems and ultimately optimising patient outcomes and experience.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic nurses to join our nursing team as a permanent Band 6 in Hardy Ward at Northwick Park Hospital. Hardy wars is a busy medical ward caring for acutely unwell elderly patients.

Other KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To be responsible for a group of patients during the shift.

To act as a mentor and assessor to students and junior staff.

To facilitate with daily roster updates, conduct investigations, datixes and audits.

To act as patient advocate for conflict resolution.

To be a co-ordinator of a shift and deputise in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Manager.

You will be an NMC registered Nurse with strong leadership, clinical and communication skills both written and verbal.
