We are seeking to recruit a forward thinking and enthusiatic Occupational Therapist to join therapies team in Enfield Acute Mental Health at Chase Farm Hospital.
The successful candidate will be involved in shaping and monitoring the quality of service provision against set standards. As a key member of the MDT the successful applicant will hold a designated caseload and be able to work independently providing OT assessments, addressing occupational performance, enabling the client in areas of self-care, productivity and leisure, and will:

Main duties of the job
- To be part of the Inpatient Therapy Team who provide occupational therapy provision to the acute wards based on the MOHO model.
- To be an active member of the multi-disciplinary teams on the wards and, with supervision, be involved in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. The post will involve delivery of the OT provision to a designated caseload, focusing on recovery and developing skills for life.
- This will include planning and running a range of therapeutic groups and individual sessions, carrying out functional assessments and contributing to multidisciplinary team care planning, formulation and risk assessment.
- You will work closely with the MDT and other local agencies to provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention as part of the acute clinical pathway. The team includes: Peer Activity Coordinators, Occupational Therapist's, Technical Instructors, Art Therapists, Dramatherapist and Activity Coordinators.

- Demonstrate an interest and participation in evidence -based practice and professional development and working with recovery principles.
