We have an exciting opportunity to join the South OXON AMHT in our experienced and motivated multi-disciplinary team based in Wallingford. From this location we cover the attractive area of Wallingford, Henley-on-Thames and Thame, as well as many of the villages on the outskirts of these towns.

Whilst we are seeking experienced Nurses and OT's we would also very much welcome applications from newly qualified Nurses or OTs who are seeking a developmental opportunity at Band 5 level where you will be provided with increased supervision, training and expectations around complexity and autonomy will be less (please state this within your application if you are interested).

Hours – preferably 30 to 37.5 hours per week with some weekend working- we welcome flexible working so please call us to discuss how we may be able to accommodate other working patterns. You will not be required to work night shifts.

This vacancy is for our Treatment Team, which means you will predominantly working with people as their allocated Care Coordinator under the Care programme Approach. In this role you will be central to building relationships with the people on your caseload, and working alongside them towards their recovery goals.

You will need to be able to work autonomously. You will have experience with the CPA process and able to assess and plan treatment with service users. You will also be able to critically assess and manage risk, including the use of Safeguarding processes.

There are opportunities for team working and facilitating groups such as MBT/CBT based interventions. The MDT consists of medics, psychological therapists, social workers, OTs, RMNs and support workers, as well as embedded workers from the third sector to support with employment, housing and social needs.

In addition, we are currently embedding Peer Support Workers within the teams to promote the power of lived experience and ensure that the gap between patient and clinician is bridged.

You will be supported by an experienced leadership team from across the professions who facilitate forums for Nursing and Occupational Therapists and hold your development as central. We offer regular supervision and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake any training relevant to your professional development.
