Applicants must have demonstrable, current experience on the Stepdown Unit or within surgical critical care as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
The role will include taking charge on a regular basis, supporting both junior and senior members of the team and liaising with other MDT's.
Full time preferable but part time hours will be considered. The post includes internal rotation to days and nights.

- The role includes taking charge of the unit on a regular basis, supporting both junior and senior members of the team. Liaising closely with the medical teams and other members of the MDT.
- Deal with any day to issues raised i.e. complaints, staffing shortages.
- You will undertake appraisals and mentor / preceptor junior staff and student nurses.
