A unique and exciting opportunity to join us, as an Administration Apprentice and learn all aspects of administration within an NHS environment.
Study towards a nationally recognised qualification, have on-going support, coaching and mentoring by an experienced professional, and you'll earn whilst you learn!
Working within the Adult Community Division based in Lincoln, during the apprenticeship I will offer you the opportunity to explore administration within other services and teams to give an overall experience of administration and the important part it plays in supporting our clinical teams, operational services and ultimately patient care.
It will be a varied role, but the experience and transferrable skills you will receive will be exceptional and rewarding. Does this sound like a career path you would be interested in?
The apprenticeship will run for approximately 18 months, where you will have regular protected study time, management/peer supervision and further opportunity to develop yourself and your newly found skills. On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, with all criteria being met, your career with the NHS can then commence, with a guaranteed Band 2 administration position, within any of the areas of Adult Community, which will allow you to continue your development.
Main duties of the job
Initially supporting the Divisional Lead Admin and Divisional management Team, with meeting preparation, including creating agenda's and taking minutes, diary management, room bookings or venues, routine administration tasks such as photocopying, printing and filing, along with ad-hoc duties of ordering supplies using in-house systems, whereby full training will be provided.
