We are searching for an enthusiastic, driven and patient focused orthotists!
This is an exciting chance to work with a progressive Orthotics team and gain experience of 3d technology in many areas of Orthotics, such as Spinal bracing and Cranial Helmet therapy.
The candidate needs to be passionate and eager to innovate the orthotic care we provide, making use of our exceptional multi-disciplinary and research teams along with our innovation team.
We are in the exciting position to at the forefront of using modern technologies and ground breaking clinical services. Developing the best care packages for our patients.
You need to be keen to improve care and develop changes in patient pathways following completing audits and research projects to provide excellent patient care and outcomes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver an Orthotics Service which is a highly specialist clinical technical service which contributes to both the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Please see attached job description for full list of duties.

- To deliver Orthotic clinical services to patients within professional guidelines that ensures clinical effectiveness for optimal care pathways.
- Responsible for the delivery of Orthotic Clinical care to a broad patient caseload including patient assessment and advice, devising treatment plans to facilitate patient goals and monitoring outcomes as required.
- Responsible for the safe provision of Orthotic equipment and specification of bespoke devices including materials, design and componentry. Ensure all risks are minimised and documented appropriately.
- Responsible for ensuring prescription decisions are made within best clinical judgements in a cost-effective manner to provide a high quality and best value Orthotic clinical care.
- Responsible for accurate recording of clinical findings and maintaining records in a confidential and sensitive manner in line with HCPC standards, professional standards, healthcare regulations and Trust Policy.
