This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership of the CAMEO North team.

CAMEO is an award-winning CPFT Early Intervention service offering assessment, treatment and support to people aged 14 - 65 years who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time.

Due to substantial investment in our service we are delighted to be embarking upon a very significant service expansion which will see us more fully meet national targets and provide first-class NICE adherent quality of care.

CAMEO Service operates across our Foundation Trust via two established bases in Cambridge and Peterborough. This post will be located in the vibrant and diverse city of Peterborough.

Main duties of the job

Oversight of caseload care coordination, ensure delivery of expert clinical assessment and individualized specialist treatment interventions as part of a service user's overall multi-disciplinary team care plan as well as contributing to shaping the strategic direction of the service.

CAMEO recognises the aim of individualised work to promote self awareness, independence, confidence and hope within the service users own unique recovery journey.

You will have experience of leadership and will have worked within a mental health community setting. It is essential to have either an interest in psychosis or a wish to develop a robust professional working knowledge within this field.

You will have a range of leadership skills & tasks including confidence at chairing large meetings, ensuring robust governance arrangements, managing service KPI's, audit activity, delivery of supervision, staff appraisals, budgetary management, recruitment, etc.

Job responsibilities

As team manager you will be the line manager for a designated team of multidisciplinary staff.

You will be responsible for the delivery of a service that meets the nationally defined quality EI standards and outcomes.

You will oversee the running of a recovery focused service with a strong practice of collaboration and co production with service users and their families and as team manager you will hold some budgetary responsibility.

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Person Specification

Qualification

Essential

  • oProfessional qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, psychology, OT or Social Work
  • o Degree or extensive clinical experience.


Desirable

  • oLeadership Qualification
  • oPsychological Therapy qualification training with individuals and/or families.


Experience

  • oExtensive experience of providing a range of interventions to people
  • oExperience of partnership working within and across various statutory and non-statutory teams and agencies.
