We are looking for a haematology nurse with vision and drive to work as part of an expert team delivering care and support to patients with malignant haematological conditions. The successful candidate will deliver the specialist aspects of the role including clinical expert, role model and educator.

To develop a holistic approach to support patients to ensure their emotional and informational needs are met by implementing HNA and care planning, health and well being initiatives and ongoing signposting
You will need to be a registered nurse with a minimum of five years' experience and have clinical knowledge, skills and competency gained through working in haematology. You will have the equivalent of a first level degree and a haematology and chemotherapy qualification, and be willing to undertake a higher degree programme. To practise autonomously, carrying a caseload of patients diagnosed with Haematological malignancy. Supporting the team in the delivery of the service for which you are responsible for or have been delegated the responsibility. - Provision of specialist, high quality, expert nursing care and support for patients and their carers with a diagnosis of Haematological cancer
- Deliver evidence based individualised patient care according to patient's changing health care needs, through holistic needs assessment, (HNA).
- To work autonomously and seek collaborative relationships with others across and within professional boundaries.
- To develop patient pathways and be responsible for developing the nursing service.
- To provide expert knowledge and advice in own specialist area, ensuring maintenance of clinical excellence underpinned by evidence-based practice.
- Work with the Multidisciplinary team and Cancer Management Team to ensure that the service complies with the national standards for safety and quality, which are assessed through National Cancer Peer Review Process and actively contribute with work plans resulting from this Quality Surveillance assessment.
