An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished administrative professional to join the All Age Safeguarding Team to work as the All Age Safeguarding Admin Team Manager.

As the Admin Team Manager, you will proactively lead a flexible and dynamic team to support the All Age Safeguarding Team across the Trust. This will include the management of your own and other team members workload, the development and maintenance of effective IT systems, the direct management of 7 administrators.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual, who will fit well into a multi discipline, multi-agency team. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience of a busy office environment. We are looking for a team player who has great interpersonal skills. Due to the often changing nature of the work this role would suit a person who has strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.

Main duties of the job

  • To deal proactively with correspondence and other forms of communication on behalf of the team, liaising with other offices/organisations/service users to collect and exchange information
  • Working flexibly across the organisation, covering the work of colleagues during peak periods or absence.
  • Analysing and interpreting information and explaining this clearly to other staff as appropriate.
  • Review the communication systems for staff, patients and/or external sources using appropriate communication tools
  • Conduct team meetings and informal and formal consultation to staff on work objectives, changes and dissemination of all relevant information to departments, external and internal users (e.g. dissemination of minutes, memos)
  • Involves staff in decisions that may affect them as appropriate.
  • Work collaborate as part of an integrated team.
