An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the planning and costing function within the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The post holder will provide a full range of financial accounting and financial management services for financial planning, costing and benchmarking statutory returns as well as developing Service Line Reporting within the Trust.
This role requires excellent administrative and organisational skills, proficiency in a range of IT applications, and a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will play a key role as part of the finance team enjoy working to shared deadlines within a supportive team environment and will be fully supported in the role and in developing their career.
The Trust has attained the Gold standard Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) award, and for finance development Future Focused Finance Level 1 and ACCA accreditation. Main duties of the job
With support from the Business Partner - Planning and Costing, the post holder will take a role in managing the Planning & Costing function. This will include,
The Assistant Business Partner - Planning and Costing will work with a range of managers, including some outside the finance function. The role will involve the preparation and presentation of information to working groups and committees and ensuring that the data produced is accurate and timely. The role is supported by the Business Finance Assistant - Planning and Costing.

Main duties of the job

- Producing data for the Annual Financial Plan,
- Supporting Costing and Pricing,
- Supporting Service Line Reporting.
- Assisting with the Corporate Benchmarking Project.
